Recorded in Brazil, February 2020, the last month before lockdowns emerged throughout the country.

Four Mornings is a part of an ongoing series of sound works incorporating field recordings which document the waking of the urban environment.

These environments are incredibly rich, intricately constituted, and ultimately irreplicable. Where they begin/end is unclear. The vantage points are somewhat arbitrary. Yet everything audible is of some greater consquence to some (or multiple) networks of actors, actions, objects and material. A machinic cartography.

All sales to Casa Nem, a refuge in Rio de Janeiro for vulnerable members of the LGBTI+ community.
